Founded in 1627 as the inn Bizenya on the approach to Kotohiragu Shrine, this ryokan has welcomed Konpira pilgrims for nearly four centuries. Renamed Kotohira Kadan in 1905, it continues its tradition of Sanuki hospitality and cuisine today.
