Founded in the early Taisho era beside the approach to Hiratsuka Shrine, this confectionery is famous for yaki-dango (grilled rice dumplings) made only with domestic rice flour, glazed in a sweet-savory sauce best enjoyed the same day. The shop has repeatedly appeared in a TV drama starring actor Shiro Ito.
