Why visitKajinoen
Founded in 1914, this confectionery began when its founder, a landscape gardener by trade, took up sweet-making as a hobby. Through ties to local firefighters, the shop created its signature monaka wafer shaped like a matoi, the standard once carried by Edo-era firefighting brigades.
