Traces back to 1921, when Takematsu Hamada, who had come to Tokyo from Ise in Mie Prefecture, opened a tempura and sushi shop in Monzen-Nakacho. The business moved to Tsukiji in 1948 and is now known for its specialty blowfish tempura rice bowl.
