Founded in 1872 as a cotton wholesaler in Nihonbashi Tomizawa-cho, Todaya Shoten now operates from Horidome-cho under its Rien-zome brand, producing hand-dyed tenugui towels and yukata using the traditional chusen technique for over 150 years.
