Founded in 1933 after its predecessor, who had run a noodle shop in Yanaka, relocated to Shimo, this soba restaurant is recorded in local history as the oldest shop in Shimo 1-chome. It also serves old-fashioned rice dishes such as curry-topped rice bowls.
